Q1 2025 Sales Volume

The Q1 results are in, and just five markets made up 51% of all Tri-Cities home sales: Kingsport (16%), Johnson City (14%), Jonesborough (8%), Bristol, TN-VA (7%), and Greeneville (7%). The remaining sales were spread across Northeast Tennessee, from Mountain City to Bulls Gap, Rogersville to Erwin, and everywhere in between.

Northeast Tennessee doesn’t have the extreme housing sales like fast-growing areas such as Nashville, Murfreesboro, or Knoxville, but that’s actually part of its appeal. Instead of skyrocketing prices and overcrowded neighborhoods, the Tri-Cities region offers steady growth, affordable homes, and a good quality of life. In a time when many places are becoming too expensive, the moderate and balanced growth in Northeast Tennessee makes it a smart choice for families who want opportunity without giving up affordability or community feel.
